I am Deng Zhi Hao, from Hou Shui Tou(后水头), a fourth-generation Taiwanese. This trip back to my hometown was very moving. 

            This time visiting Kinmen, what impressed me the most was touring many of my hometown’s landscapes together. We visited several historic sites and experienced the culture of our hometown. At each place, we could see the blend of tradition and modernity, with both ancient temples and streets. The entire trip was filled with a sense of discovery and nostalgia. 

            Additionally, this trip has also specially arranged for us to eat the food of my hometown. We savored the famous bubble tea, braised pork rice, and sun cakes, which were all unforgettable in taste. The happiest part was the group meal together; we sat around several tables, chatted and laughed, shared our recent experiences and past stories, which greatly strengthened our bonds. 

            This trip back home not only made me feel the warmth of Kinmen more deeply but also helped me reconnect with myself and this land.

这次去金门，最让我印象深刻的是一起游览了许多家乡的风景。我们参观了几处历史悠久的景点，感受到了家乡的文化。每到一处，都能看到传统与现代的融合，既有古老的庙宇和街道。整个行程充满了发现与回忆的感觉。 

另外，这次旅行还特别安排了去吃家乡的食物。我们津津有味地吃了著名的泡泡茶、卤肉饭和太阳饼，味道十分难忘。最开心的是一起聚餐，大家围坐几桌，谈笑风生，分享彼此的近况与往事，增进了不少感情。 

这趟回乡之旅，不仅让我更深刻地感受到金门的温暖，也让我重新认识了自己与这片土地的连接。
