招待。I found that the hospitable culture was seen all across the county. Whether it was the government, my relatives living in Kinmen or even my grandfather, they all possess the same trait of being welcoming whenever they receive guests. I had the chance to visit the place where my grandfather lived, 铺 边, my distant relative hosted us and brought us to watch the sunset, offered us snacks despite having to eat dinner again later that day, dinner table always filled to the brim with dishes.

Their love and warmth for us was abundant and my heart was full. Their hospitality reminded me of how my grandfather used to force us to have snacks and Popiah even after we had a heavy meal prior to visiting him. It was truly a blessing to watch how the hospitable culture transcends from generation to generation.

从唐山到南洋。We visited museums and heard about how our ancestors travelled to Singapore. We could only be what we are now because of the bold and risky move they took to travel down to seek for better opportunities. Because of my grandfather, I could live in safe and well-governed sunny city Singapore and I am beyond grateful. My grandfather was a man with little words, he lived a simple life and he often loved eating fish. I never got to hear much about his history or background but this trip allowed me to see a part of his life I would have never known.

朋友。家人。Moreover, many descendants of Kinmen who came from Brunei, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore also participated in the trip to Kinmen. Because of this experience, I have forged new friendships and made unforgettable memories with them.

招待。我发现好客的文化在整个县都能看到。 无论是政府、住在金门的亲戚，还是我的祖父，他们在接待客人时都表现出同样的热情好客。 我有机会参观了我祖父居住的地方——铺边，我的远房亲戚招待了我们，还带我们去看日落，尽管那天晚上已有安排吃晚饭，他们还是给我们提供了一堆零食，晚餐桌上也总是摆满了菜。

他们对我们的爱和温暖是如此丰盛，我的心里充满了感动。 他们的热情好客让我想起了我的祖父，他总是强迫我们在去看望他之前吃完一顿丰盛的饭后，还要吃零食和薄饼。 看到这种好客文化如何代代相传，真是一种祝福。

从唐山到南洋。我们参观了博物馆，听说了我们的祖先是如何前往新加坡的。 我们之所以能成为现在的自己，都是因为他们勇敢而冒险地前来寻找更好机会。 因为我的祖父，我才能住在安全且治理良好的阳光之城新加坡，我对此感激不尽。 我的祖父是个寡言的人，他过着简单的生活，常常喜欢吃鱼。 我从来没有听过他很多关于历史或背景的事情，但这次旅行让我看到了我从未知道的他生活的一部分。
